A little shorter than a typical soccer sock and not much tension in the top to keep them from falling down.

Warning! Be very careful when ordering these socks regarding the size. The way they describe sizes is inadequate on this site. I ordered size 5-7, based on shoe size. It wasn't until I got them that directly on the package is a good chart explaining that 5-7 refers to sock size, which is children's 3-10 SHOE size!! They could have spent a tiny bit more time explaning clearly how sizes work on amazon. I now have socks I have to give away to some 5 year old, while my son has only his old socks for his tournament coming up. Very frustrated. He's on the travel team and they MUST cover his shin guards, which these won't. I like the price, but useless if they don't fit. I've included a pic of the chart right on the package. I hope it's helpful.

I didn't expect to be so happy with this purchase, but I am. I got the hunter green in size medium for my 7 year old who wears a kids size 2 shoe, and they are great -- long enough to come over her knees and fold down a bit. They've washed well. Would recommend these for anyone else looking to replace or have extra sets of soccer uniform socks.
