I used this to replace the lid on 20 gal Rubbermaid Roughneck trash can. It fits pretty well, the handles line up well including the lock holes but it is about 1/8 inch too wide for the lock tabs to hold on each handle. This is actually not a problem for me as I use this for my recycling and I prefer the top to be easy to remove for frequent opening. Over all an affordable option for the original lids that get sun baked and cracked since the OEM replacement lids are ridiculously expensive. I am happy. If you need this to snap and lock on a Roughneck can though it will not work for you.

Although I was initially disappointed in this purchase, it has grown on me.I bought this to use as a Frisbee in my league, but apparently it's a bit too large for "regulation play".I brought it home and it fit perfectly on my generic 20 gallon trashcan.Crisis averted.KRAKOWBLADOW!Ten out of ten would buy again

This cover fit our older trash can that we have used for various purposes over the years. It currently has extra mulch in it. We don’t want it to rain into the can. But, as you can imagine, over the years, the sun slowly caused the old lid to crack and fall apart.Replacing the lid was cheaper than a new can and lid, as our current Rubbermaid can is perfectly serviceable.
