For the price point, this is a lovely guitar. The one I got was well setup out of the box and just needed tuning. I know some people like to replace the pickups, change the strings and fiddle around with the action etc, but for me this was just right. It sounds great, plays well and apart from the Squier logo, looks just like a Telecaster. Very happy with it.

I wanted a classic sounding telecaster and found this Classic Vibe 70s. The pictures looked great, and I watched several reviews on youtube... and there was just so much positive feedback. So, I went for it, and I am very happy with this. It looks even better than its pics. The body is a very comfortable shape. The instrument has a slight neck dive, but nothing too troublesome. The neck is chunky, but feels nice. The frets are neatly places, so there is no discomfort changing positions. The two lower pots are a little tight, no big deal. The input jack was loose. Tightened it up with a 12mm socket, again no big deal. Then I plugged it in...This guitar really sings. Each position on the pickup selector provides a distinct voice. All of them sound good. I played it through a Peavey Classic 30 and through a Marshall AS50. There was nothing I didn't like. The guitar tunes up easily. The intonation was good out of the box.I am very happy with this guitar. I think it's a fantastic value for its price. But I don't think that it should be overlooked as an entry level guitar. Even if you are experienced and can afford the more expensive Fender models, give this one a try also, in my opinion.

Out of the box, it was playable, nothing to complaint, but if you really want to get the best out of it, go and do a tune up on it and maybe change the pick up. The neck feels nice

Great guitar awesome build, feel and vintage sounding pickups! I’ll had to do is tune it up and play, some cleaning and polishing up the frets but otherwise still a 5 star guitar!

Bought this for a project. Wanted to replace the pickups. The quality overall is very good for the price. The tuners, the body amd the neck are really good. Great quality. The frets finishing is better than on my Stratocaster Elite (?!?!? Really? Fender?).But the electronics are not great. They are ok. But my plan was to swap them anyway. I changed the pickups for a pair of Vaughn Skow and changed all the pots for quality pots and the guitar sounds amazing. Really worth it for a project like this or a great beginner guitar. But you will outgrow the pickups.

Got this from wharehouse deals as " good used" saved some bucks on a great guitar. I have a Fender Mexico Tele and a squire tele. I tried one of these at a buddies house, Fender version and I really liked it. Versatile sound and different from the std Telecaster but you can still get the traditional sounds you have come to know, and I assume like or you wouldn't be looking at one.. this one came with some small marks and scratches on the back but noting to put me off. I was expecting some minor issues as it was a return... other wise it is good shape, looks good, plays great and set up pretty close to how I like it. the frets are a little "poky" out the bottom but easily fixed. The plastic was still in the pick guard a real pain to get off but under was pristine. Its a great guitar in really good shape for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this product to those that like Telecasters and want some different sounds

This is the first guitar I have bought online. It came playable right out of the box. Upon close inspection it did require some TLC - which would have been done by the music store if purchased there. Now that I have done a complete setup, it is awesome. If you have never setup a guitar yourself, it would be a good idea to take it to a technician and have them make the necessary adjustments - it's worth it.

I saw them in the music store and either the neck or the body were some mustard orange color and I thought it was just a bad sample but when I unpacked mine it was actually orange too...

I’m blown away by how nice this guitar looks and sounds. The neck on mine is incredible! Glossy flamed maple goodness. The pickups sound fat and really push my amp nicely. I would say the quality is better than my 2019 Fender Player Series Telecaster. It will need a setup though. The action is quite high and the intonation definitely needs to be set. The fret ends are a bit sharp as well. No big deal. All in all I’m more likely to buy another Squier Classic Vibe than any new Fender again. Squier is killing it!
