Because my present dogs are the first pushed in faces dogs I’ve ever owned, I was paranoid about doing anything to cause any breathing concerns. I tried every “no pull” collar and halter advertised to no avail. I used the choke collars in the past on my shepherds, Brittanies, Border Collies and mixed breeds. I am much older now and have “downsized”. I now have 2 French bulldogs and they are way more powerful than I ever thought they would be! So much for a laid back house dog. They are (or were) pullers to the point I almost fell on my face when I rabbit jumped out in front of us one day. Even until yesterday, they still strained when I reached that area. No more!I don’t jerk or pull on the collars. I don’t continually say heel heel heel or leave it, leave it, leave it. I don’t offer treats. I just keep walking and within a day, there is no more pulling when a strange dog, person or bird comes into view. Not sure about the rabbit🙄 yet.Don’t give choke chains a bad rap. Take a read of The William Koehler Method of Dog Training if you can find it. He wrote several books and they were my bibles when it came to training my shepherds, Brittanie’s Border Collies and mutts. Frankly, this is the only thing that is working with these two dogs and it’s only been a few hours of outings.

Chain links are tighter than regular choke chains and thicker. Feels heavy and sturdy. Absolutely love it. Looks fancy on dog (not cheap / tarnished) and the quality is excellent. Oh, and 16 inch length is actually 16 inches, not 14 like the other chain I had to return.

There are no weaknesses to this collar. The welds are perfect on the collar and the loops to tie onto have no welds to speak of. I don't see how this collar would fail. The extra couple of bucks for the stainless is worth the money. 10/10

I bought this for my 2-year-old Pitbull, who is quite small for her breed and still very young. Unfortunately, the chain broke due to poor welding, and my dog ran away. Thankfully, I was able to get her back, but I would not recommend this product to anyone. Even for small dogs, it’s not worth the risk.

Best choke chain I've ever had. Not that I'd ever put it on the choke ring. Built to last. Looks stylish to boot.It's great. Size as expected.
