Utilizing this tester is straightforward and simple. Insert the battery, power on the tester, and connect one end of the cable to the master side and the other end to the remote side of the tester. The light will indicate problems (if any) with the wires in the cables.

I wish that I bought this long ago. Takes the guess work out of network cables problems. The cable can be tested in place as the parts separate so one will go on each end of the cable. Easy to tell if the cable is functioning properly.

This inexpensive cable tester effectively serves its purpose of testing continuity in cables. However, the inconvenience arises when trying to test cables that are already installed and have ends in different rooms. Despite this drawback, I've owned it for two years and it continues to function well. It's a basic item that gets the job done, particularly for testing network cables, ensuring proper termination and reliable connections.

I bought it from amazon, estimated time delivery is 4 days, I saw my device in front of my door after 15hrs of order. I used this device one time only, its amazing and easy to use for test LAN wire, I make a mistake in purpose to check,this device discover the problem right away, even with its cheapest price, the 9v batt is included with this set and a good leather pocket as well to keep the device. I really recommend this device for small business and do it by yourself work.
