Does what I need when it clips. Need to fiddle alot with it to get two pieces to stay attached/wrapped around the shoulder straps. But if you over wrap and compensate it eventually works. Shame the clips are not sewn to prevent movement. Again over wrap.and they work. They just loosen after a couple of weeks and you need to reset, but as said. When it is set up it works for what I need. It only worth a couple of bucks though. 5 at max.

One side of the buckle has no method to attach the nylon strap. It's a manufacturing flaw. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

It came with no instruction. The straps will not stay in securely at all. A complete waste of time. Returned it. Don’t get this product.

First off its hard to find a kids school backpack with these already on so when i found these on here i jump on the opportunity to buy them.Well im a bit disappointed with them If there isn’t tension at all times they comme undone, not the clip but the other parts. And it doesn’t comme with any explanation on how to take them appart and put back. If the had a picture with the packaging it would of been better but no they came in a plastic ziplock style bag with nothing but them inside.

I got these for my travel backpack since I knew we'd be doing a lot of walking around with our luggage during a recent trip to europe. If there had been some instructions on how to attach these securely they might have lasted, but one fell off and was lost during my first trip after buying them, rending the other half obviously useless. I was quite disappointed. Unless you intend to sew them onto your backpack, I would advise against this product.

While the sternum strap attached to my backpack easily enough, one strap slipped through the buckle on my first hike. I ended up folding it over itself snd synching the strap ends to prevent them from sliding through. Also, the built-in whistle isn't that good, so pack a real one just in case.

I’ve tried it and it works okay, I use it for my work suspenders. I would have preferred to have one part of the strap sealed or sewn onto itself, remaining on the buckle and have the ability to adjust everything else. It fell apart(not broken) because the straps aren’t fixed to stay.

No instructions came with the straps and they were a nuiscance to try to install correctly.Get the versions that have the plastic clips that attach to and grip the backpack shoulder straps. I would have given this product zero stars if the rating page let me.
