Have a duty, very sharp..I'm a log truck driver, and besides driving the truck I am responsible for trimming my load of Vines and branches that may hit another car. That's where a good machete comes in handy, but I have to say that this one is the best I have ever owned, sharp and very sturdy

This blade was obviously not properly quenched and hardened. Blade developed a roll the first time it was used. Then got 2 more roles on the second and third strike. Pretty to look at. Not at all functional. Extremely disappointing

This Bully machete is a good design for heavy chopping chores with some nice detailing and mostly well made for the price. It has a good size finger choil and is weighted forward. You may have to sand the edges of the wood handle to make it more comfortable in hand but generally nicely done.It comes sharp as a razor as well.I haven't used it yet so I can't say whether it is a durable chopper or not, but it would definitely make a nice looking wall hanger in any collection. The sheath is a little flimsy but it does the job.The only real issues I've had with it are in the heat treatment, meaning these knives often have a bowed blade.Secondly, the welding at the bottom of the pommel is a little shoddy and the joints are not closed. All in all, if you can get one with a straight blade, it's a good purchase for the price.

It is intimidating! Big, beautiful blade and has a really good heft to it. It came razor sharp and cuts like a monster. One inch thick branches were no problem. Bigger limbs took multiple blows but each swing was very productive. Made short work of 3 inch limb. However, the handle is most uncomfortable. Handle is too square. Edges are too sharp and I will definitely be working on it with a file/grinder as soon as I get time. Still, no stars taken away, cause it is a beauty! In terms of using for self-defense, post-apocalypse for instance, nobody is going to mess with you when you unsheath this thing. Definitely not a toy. Respect it at all times. It will sever anything that gets in its way. No joke..

Bought this with the intention of cutting dead limbs/sticks while camping. The large dent visible occurred while trying to cut a dead branch (approx 1" diameter) off of a fallen spruce tree. The smaller nicks occurred while attempting to remove small twigs from said branch. Initial thoughts when viewing knife for the first time was a sharp blade that should cut through small branches/trees with ease. First and only use proved I was mistaken. If you wish to cut anything tougher than grass, pass on this machete.

First time using to but a 1/2” sapling. The blade edge folded right over. This is not stainless as advertised and not even a hardened steel. This is complete garbage and not only useless but dangerous to use.

Good thick steel, kinda a pain to sharpen the first time, but once you've got your edge it'll cut through pretty good sized brush with relative ease

I was using our kitchen cleaver to chop up branches and junk in the chicken pen, like banana trees. This knife is much better shaped and maybe even holds sharpness better. It can be sharpened with a regular knife sharpener. The price was very nice for the quality of the product. The handle could be a little friendlier. I worked for about 90 minutes and started to get a little feel of a blister building, but I chopped up four banana trees into 2-inch pieces, so that's pretty good. It is actually very nice for cutting down the actual 15 to 20-foot trees.
