The rubber the boots are made of is very durable. Just make sure you use a 8.8mm or smaller wire. The gentleman at Taylor said they would fit the 10.4mm 409 wire. I had to do some modifications to make the 10.4 wire slide into the boots. Other then that this is an awesome coil boot.
