If you want to fit a 4 inch outside diameter you will be disappointed. It needs to be slightly larger. I bought an adapter from a home improvement store to make it work. This would be unnecessary if the item was correctly sized. The quality of product and clamps were good. I like that they used shrink plastic on the exterior. This made it easy to store the excess length on my project. If I had to do it again I would buy another brand with the hope that the size would work so the adapter could be skipped.

The clamps fit perfect & the quality of the hose is excellent & it replaces the old hose that lasted for about 8 years. I had 4 loads of clothing & a quilt to dry, no leaks & old of those loads dried perfectly, this dryer hose for price is a very good purchase.

This has the perfect amount of flex and is definitely more durable than one of the soft metal ducts.
