Your cart is empty.Coupling Nuts are long nuts used to connect pieces of threaded rod or other male threaded fasteners. They are similar to hex nuts with extreme height measurements giving it length. The coupling nut joins two pieces of threaded rod.

Good looking nuts. Takes a 5/8" wrench. Almost 1 3/4" long. For being made in China, I'm impressed.

Worked as expected with the common coarse 3/8-16 rods and bolts. Length is 1-3/4"--longer than those at Home Depot which are 1-1/8". Size matches up with 3/8" nuts and takes the same 5/8" wrench.I use them for joining 3/8" rods. Also for sockets in the wood legs of work tables for 3/8" leveling bolts. The greater length gives more leveling range. The same sockets installed in wood legs of work tables can be used for heavy duty 5" caster wheels (available from Amazon) that have threaded stems of 1.5", so I can roll my work tables around while heavily loaded.

I am using these to connect studio lights to ceiling supports, and they fit the 3/8 inch supports on most LED Studio lights. excellent build quality
