The adult version of the king socks are made for a higher profile foot than average. I wear a size 8W shoe and average foot height but found these to be very loose when I put them on and they kept bunching inside my skate. I ended up ordering the junior version of these socks instead and they fit well.

If your skates are fluffy and warm inside this isn't good. Wearing regular socks is better for me. I actually had a better grip with regular socks that had friction. With these, my foot kept slipping in my socks even though my skates are the right size. I recommend using normal socks to those who haven't first and if you think that's necessary then buy it. Most new figure skates don't need these socks.

I bought these for inline figure skating. Wanted a thin sock that would give me a barefoot feel. Well made, but slippery like nylons. My foot slid around inside my skate and I had to take them off. Nothing wrong with the sock, just not right for me. I need a sock with less slip.

Great until they are worn once ond washed, they strechout. My 7 yr old wears bauer sox 5 days a week on ice. Thiught these would be more comfortzbme but they suck, its too bad. Dont buy inkess you buy 200 pairs and throw away after each use. Thry really suck
