This was delivered with the box open, and the birdies were missing. I don't have time to send it back for another one because I'm turning it in for an auction tomorrow.I haven't used this set, but the kids have enjoyed playing four square in the past.

It works really well for 4 or 8 players! Bought it for a family reunion of about 50, and had a handful of people playing all week long. Quick, easy set up and easy game play just like 4-square on the playground. The court is a 20x20ft area so make sure you have a good relatively level spot to set up. The poles are metal not plastic like a much cheaper option at other stores *Walmart/Sam's Club* and the net seems to hold up pretty well. We did not do the badminton aspect yet, but this comes with everything you need for either volleyball or badminton including a pump for the volleyball.The only suggestion/alteration I could think of is a scoring device of some kind as the score constantly changes and people rotate in and out of the king spot.If you're looking at this and see the seemingly same thing at a different store for much cheaper, know the differences such as the metal poles (vs plastic) and addition of badminton game. It was worth the cost for me in the end and I would buy it again.

Well designed and easy to set up. Only reason I dropped a star was after playing it twice, the volleyball has an inch tear in it that needed to be repaired with a patch.

This makes a great game for people of all ages. You can play with only four players or rotate others in. It is good that you can play a version of volleyball without having to have the usual six people on each side as you do in a regular volleyball game. When the younger people played, we had them just catch the ball and throw it to another square rather than try to volley to another person. The nets can be lowered for badminton, but I don't think that works as well as playing with the volleyball because you don't have much space within the square to hit the shuttlecock. All in all I think this is a great outdoor activity. If I buy it again, I think I would not get the full set but only the volleyball portion.
