This thing is solidly built. The integral on/off valve and ignitor made soldering far easier and quicker. A huge upgrade from the one I've had for going on 20 years.

I have been using this for a few months now and the tip is resistant to any kind of rust or metal that may fall in it. Solder comes out with a few taps and it works like the day I bought it great purchase!

Poor quality item, faulty. After less of 3 months of occasional use, the built up caught fire and the entire thing ignited. No longer usable

Worked for two months and now it doesn’t. You have to manually light it with a lighter wants turning the gas on.

This is the third one that I have had to order. So it works now today, it is new. We live in Council Bluffs IA, we have very humid summers. The unit does not like humidity or moisture of any kind.

The TS7000 Propane Torch Head is a durable tool. It's constructed entirely of metal, except for the on/off button. You can easily adjust the flame size with the adjustable flame control knob. The torch is simple to operate with an ignition button that quickly ignites and extinguishes the flame. It may be a bit heavy for prolonged use. The torch I received had a few minor blemishes on the body, looks like damaged paint.

Has combination trigger gas flow/ignite control.OTHER torch heads have a trigger only to spark the gas once it starts flowing by turning the rotary knob. Extinguishing the flame requires one to use the rotary knob again to stop the flow of gas.With THIS torch head, you set the rotary knob counterclockwise to enable gas flow. Gas only starts flowing when the trigger is pulled, which also ignites the flame. Once the trigger is released gas flow stops and flame goes out. Pull the trigger again to start gas flow and re-ignite....Solid construction and a good weight.
