They work perfectly. We created a tethered tie out and they are the perfect length. Feel like good quality. The spring is a little stiff but I’m sure it’ll loosen up.

I have two of these now. They work great. My dog is quite big and strong and although the it’s looks thin it is very tough. My one negative would be I wish the carabiner was a bit bigger. Would make for easier attachment and removal from dog stakes.

Tavsiye etmiyorum.

I received this dog tie out cable for my golden retriever, and overall I'm very pleased with this it! It is strong, durable, and easy to use. The cable is 15 feet long, which gives my dog enough room to move around. The shock absorbing spring and swivel hook prevent the cable from tangling or snapping. The tie out is very convenient and safe. I can attach it to any stake, tree, or fence in my yard. It keeps my dog secure and under control. The cable is also weather resistant, so it shouldn't rust or corrode....yet to be seen. This tie out is great for anyone who has a dog and a yard, or some sort of large space...even the beach! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This is a sturdy and easy to use yard leash. The clips are easy to use and open/shut. The cable material and plastic coating is solid and should hold up easily. I'm sure if you have a chewer the plastic coating will be gone, but should not be able to chew through the cable itself. I needed a way to keep my dog on our outside patio that isn't fenced, so she can enjoy being outside with us and this works great!

The thing that I love the most about this dog tie out cable is the fact that it has very strong Clips on the end. I've had several dog cables with the little standard Clips on the end and it's never the cable itself that breaks it is always the metal Clips on the end that get broken when My Husky lunges against the cable. I have six dogs and most of them don't need to be tied up but two of them have to alternate turns being off leash because if the two of them are off together, my Husky and my border collie, they like to go exploring! So when one of them is off leash the other one will be tied up temporarily until the other one comes back so they take turns. Like I said all of the other cables that I've bought, and it doesn't matter how thick the cable is, because the cable itself never breaks , even with the thinner plastic covered metal cables, the problem and the weak link is always in the hook portion. It's always the metal hook that has broken on my other cable leads. On the other hand, this cable lead has a nice strong very thick clip on both ends so I can already tell they're not going to break and the attachments of the clips to the cable itself are also very well designed and strong. If you take your dog out for walks, this will double nicely as a long lead although I think it's a bit overkill for a walking lead since it's much heavier than a fabric leash. I also got the 20-ft & 10 ft versions. The 20 ft I attached to the overhead long dog run cable that I have in my yard and it works great for that. A 25 or 30 ft one would be even better for my use so I added the extra 10 ft cable to extend the length. And for another are of the yard with another cable setup, I used the 15 foot cable to extend another 10 foot cable with a very poor design, with screw on ends (instead of clips) that aren't safe to be used directly on the dog's collar. In any case all 3 of these heavy duty cables with clip ends are much better than the 10-ft lead that came with that overhead dog run setup that already broke shortly after once my husky lunged against it few times trying to get free to go chase Hogs. :-)

This tie out is a bit above the average tie out and well made. The cable itself is nice and thick and protected by a sleeve. The real upgrade is the quality of the hardware. The heavy-duty clip swivels which keeps the cable from twisting and aids in preventing the dogs getting tangled up. I really like that the clip can lock - that helps ease my mind when they get super excited and jump around quite a bit. This size tie out is great for traveling - just the right length to give the dog some freedom but they can't go too far. It is also not so bulky or heavy so it is easy to carry around.

I am pleased with this tie out cable. It seems sturdy and strong, yet flexible enough for my pup to enjoy playing in our yard. The hooks are different than the ones on the other tie out cables we have used, and these ones are easier to clip on and off, yet seem more secure. My kids have mentioned they find it much easier to use.I like that this cable has the springed portion on it. Occasionally my kids may toss a ball or something for our puppy and accidentally have it fly a little out of her reach. I always feel bad for her to hit the end of her line and have it jerk her body like that. This feature allows for some give to absorb some of the shock so she doesn't endure the full impact of being halted by the line.I have nothing negative to say about this product and can recommend it with no hesitation.

EDIT (7/8/24): 80 lb dog + squirrel = broken clip. You can easily replace it by attaching a carabiner to the loop, but know that it can't handle a dog with high prey drive on a mission on its own.My initial reactions leave me impressed with the quality. Comes with hooks that are easy to use and lock in place - though over time I'm curious to see if these will loosen off on their own as it doesn't take much to slide the lock in place. The shock-absorbing spring is also very well made. I tried to tug on it on my own and it had minimal movement (my 80-lb husky/lab will be the true test of this).I've included some pictures side-by-side with a brand name cable (black) that I've been using for the last two years and this cable appears to be slightly thicker and I think it will hold it's shape better (my old cable doesn't wind up as nice and has a couple bends from use). The true test will come with use over time, but from my initial look I anticipate this will hold up quite well. I will update if that changes.
