The battery did not last at all, and they are very expensive to buy! Great idea though

When looking for a toy your cat will play with is difficult to say the least. When I received this little mouse I opened it an turned it on. As soon as it touched the floor it took off, with the cat in hot pursuit. Some how it survived the attack & when back on the ground, off it went again. So far, its still survived. The battery lasted about 2 weeks using a 2450 coin battery & it comes with one spare battery. The cat loves it. The only issue is operating on carpet, goes slow or stops. Doesn't fight back.

This is a toy that gets around a LOT. We have named him George. George is popular. George gets carried around, batted around, and, as I have discovered, rolls equally well on carpet as he does on hardwood floors. So far, the only place where George has not been found is the bathroom, but I don't hold out hope that he won't be found there some day in the near future. George is light enough that a kitten can carry him around, sturdy enough that an adult can pounce and attack without doing damage to George or himself.

If it moves, make some noise and has CatNip whats not to like if your a cat...Yes its neet and I would say the cat likes it SO......Or you could buy your cat a pound of catnip and see if it overdoses -Spoiler - sleep city for the kitty....

Had this for a week and the cat still wants to play with it. Arrived on time, came with battery already fitted and a spare battery. All good so far.

I had to really entice my cat with this in order to gain her interest. Just as I gain her interest, about 10 mins of playing, the battery burns out. It'll cost a small fortune to keep it operative.

The mouse runs on the floor as it is supposed to, but the sound chip mouse squeak does not work.

Two cats, two opinions on this mouse! One cat will not go near it, the other will not play with any other toy anymore. It's a little bit heavier than I expected, and it can get kind of loud at playtime - it rattles along the floor, and also gets picked up and tossed, plus the little chirp noises. Luckily it goes to sleep fairly quickly when the cat is done playing. Even after being dropped down the stairs, it still runs perfectly. It did take some time for the cat to get used to the noise before he really fell in love, but that's just cats. The only downside is that my cat will leave it in unexpected places and create mini jumpscares on a regular basis.

This is a pretty good toy but every cat is different. I have one that loves it and another that ignores it completely. It could be a bit more sensitive though since my cat often has to tap it 3 or 4 time before it starts moving again. But overall, a good purchase. Pretty noisy though.UPDATED: After two weeks of light usage, the mouse barely works anymore. We changed the battery but that didn't help so it's the nmouse itself. It moves about 2 centimeters on slo-mo and then stops. Very disapointed. Changing from 4 stars to 2 stars.

Got this for my little man and he's often *very* picky about mechanical/interactive toys, but he took to this one right away, from the first second. Figured it out easily, and kept coming back to it over and over. It seems really well made, he likes to toss his toys around and tosses them high, so it's hit the floor hard a few times already and keeps right on going. He's very pleased and so am I!Edited to add: As a side note, I'm pretty impressed with this toy. When it hits something, it stops, chirps, then reverses and turns so it can go forward when the cat taps/hits it again. I'm buying another as a backup in case the cat wrecks this one. It's been a couple weeks and he's still going strong. It's a great item at a good price point. My only complaint/suggestion and the ONLY reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is, I need to be able to take the bottom off, or at least make a little door to access the wheels/axle to clear hair off because I have long hair, plus the cat's hair, and it's *extremely* difficult to get wrapped hair off the thing so it can keep moving, because I can't open it at all.Update: It's been over a year (Feb 2023) and the mouse is still kicking. We got a second cat and a second mouse, and both mice get beaten up and thrown around regularly. Still hard to clean the wheels, but they love it so much, it's worth the effort.

My cat loves this toy. It gets stuck behind furniture a lot and he’ll cry for it. I leave it turned on all of the time so he can play with it when he chooses. You’ll want to buy lots of batteries! I find it goes through batteries quickly but definitely worth it watching my guy enjoy it.

The toy worked for about two days, then started slowing way down and stopping, or only moving forward an inch or two. The battery was brand new. I even tried changing the battery; no difference. The toy does not work as advertised.

I purchased 4 different electronic mice in hopes of keeping Cat busy / engaged throughout the day. The Vealind GiGwi mouse is, by far, the best - highly recommended. Its a neat little toy and constantly keeps Cat engaged, despite his low play/prey drive.Compared to the others we tried, this one moves the fastest by far (while still being usable for a 'mostly blind' cat), is consistently engaging - he plays with it on his own; high-quality materials and good size, makes perfect (yet subtle) squeaks at just the right times. It doesn't work as well on carpet, so we mostly use it on wood floors, but even on carpet it's exponentially better than the competing products we tried. 10/10 will likely buy again.
