Worked well for my attic, remote control made one man show lot easier.Only suggestion is to make the shut off switch more sensitive to bottoming out.

I bought this hoist to use on a gantry crane to lift pickup truck beds (which do not weigh much, only 500-600 lbs) off for fuel pump replacements. This hoist worked okay, but the braking on it is poor which made it tricky to use for my application. The hoist coasts for several inches when you let off of the button for it to stop lowering. It also coasts up a few inches when raising light loads too. If this is okay for you and you are not trying to be precise with the stopping points then this winch is okay. I will use it for other things that require less precision. For what it costs (which is not much for an electric remote controlled hoist), it is okay overall in my opinion.

All the product write-ups indicated to me it was manual, wired and remote control, but what came in the box was just the manual switch in the handle and a remote that does not work.I decided to keep it and just use extension cords with a switch in the extension cord.So far I've used it once for pulling a plane into a hangar, and it did so. The "automatic shutoff switch" is supposed to be activated by a metal ring on the cable but is poorly positioned and doesn't connect properly. If it lasts me through the summer I will be surprised but I will NEVER order Vevor again.Amazon you should kick them out not make them one of your recommended products!Trying to find something positive . . . the cable and the hooks are a decent heavy duty but everything else is questionable. I'm concerned that they sent replacement motor brushes, like they know you will need them quickly! As I said, if it lasts me through the summer I will be surprised.

Nice 👍🏿 unit. Clips that are on hooks are very Flimsy! One of the clips already broken. Other that it does what it is supposed to do. Use it to load lawn mower for service and new blades. Made it easy cause I am in a wheelchair. Wish I could find replacement clips.
