This UV system treats water at 1 gallon per minute, making it perfect for single faucets and water fountains. The VIQUA VT1 is also an excellent add-on to under-sink water filters and reverse osmosis systems.

The unit installed well as instructed. The challenges of the unit are related to the construction. Due to the use of O rings, the unit leaks due to lacks of specifications in torque. Ideally, the quarts harness should be a single capsule that is welded with a food safe adhesive and silicone lubricant. Under normal usage the unit builds up condensation; which insulation can solve. From observations of usage, I doubt endurance and operation testing validated the first of usage. With the design challenges, I have encountered the bulb burning out much before the expected rating. I live in Colorado and the lack of humidity should not have contributed to the device failure this; I cannot recommend the unit as designed as my observations are just a short list of faults.
