Pls beware of the battery … Worx has a few models and the charger will also be diff .. unless you buy together with their batteries

This thing is awesome. It has the ability to cut thru large limbs. The only limitation is how wide the blades open. It cuts thru 1” limbs like butter.I also have the Worx string trimmer and small leaf blower which work good. My only complaint is the smaller battery looses charge too quickly. The 4.0 ah battery is great. I just purchased two more 4.0 batteries.Update: The build quality of this pruner appears to be excellent. My wife loves this thing. The ease of usage is very good. I don’t think we’ll be using our manual pruners much in the future

This is my third pruning shear order. They are excellent machines!! Pruning time is cut by 75% on any job that they can handle. We do a great deal of landscaping and my wife and I have our shears going nonstop! Excellent battery life, you get tied before the battery is low. We have cut 2 to 3 hours straight before needing to replace a battery. Very easy to handle with one hand which makes reaching deep into shrubs easier to accomplish. Exceptional value for the price! My only concern is Worx customer service. Service phone number hangs up after telling you to use their website for FAQs. I broke a blade assembly and just want to obtain a replacement part for one of my shears. Help me out Worx customer service if you are out there!

tres lourd pour l'utilité. un simple sécateur manuel fait tres bien le travail. achat inutile.

All of the Worx brand tools that I own are of good quality and seem to last a long time. This Pruning Shear/Lopper cuts branches up to 1.5 inches or so in diameter. The power behind the tool works to cut the branch very quickly with no struggle. I have tried to trim the flat fronds on my palm trees with less than stellar results but that is because of the shape of the frond. After several pruning jobs the tool works great and I highly recommend. I gave lower stars due to the fact that it is sometimes difficult to get the tool at the right angle to trim the branches off because of the length of the blade.

I'll admit that I'm hooked on Worx products. When the need for something to trim back our bushes became apparent, I immediately looked at Worx and found these. Now, I have a Worx chainsaw, and a Worx sawz-all, which certainly have their place, but that place is not trimming free-standing branches. This lopper, on the other hand, it exactly the right tool for the job. This device, of course, uses the Worx PowerShare 20v battery. For some of their tools, the larger capacity batteries are best, but the standard 2Ah one is perfect for this application. A 4Ah would, I think, make this a bit heavy. With the 2Ah, it is light enough to be comfortable to use for many, many cuts. I cleared out some overgrown blackberry bushes and didn't even begin to use up the battery.I've cut brush and branches up to (and over) the 1" capacity. To misuse it by cutting larger branches, I've found that making two or three partial cuts works. Anything up to an inch is cut with just one go, whether it's a growing branch or a dried up old one. Just pull the trigger and anything within the blades is immediately bisected. Trying this sort of work with a chainsaw or sawz-all is an effort in futility.I will also add that if one is trimming hemp plants, you know how tough it can be. This makes short work of trimming plants of this nature, whether fresh or dried. Conclusion: If you need to trim "anything" up to an inch or so, this tool will get the job done. If you need a tool like this and are already invested in the Worx battery platform, choosing this lopper is a no-brainer. I consider this to be excellent value for money and recommend it.
