Good for playing music with but doesn't work properly with TV surround. Full of bugs. Save your $. This receiver should not be getting sold. No wonder I got on sale for $679 CAD

Le son est du Yamaha RX-V6A de basse Qualité comparatif a un RX-A870 mais à un beau son pareil , si tu compare a un Sony ou un Kraco de CND Tire. Le fameux 4K tant convoité n'est en vérité q'un 720P avec des chiffres et des lettres laissant un petit flou a la Surface. Les lettres d'un 4K sont finement affilé sans aucune trace de ce petit flou qu'on retrouve chez un RX-V6A . 400$ de plus et tu va avoir du vrai 4K . La compagnie Yamaha ne peu pas vendre un produit de haute qualité 4K a 679$ sinon ceux qui ont acheté à 900$ dirais pourquoi le RX-A2A est a ce prix ? Réponse: Parce-que la qualité du 4K est là et le son est plus fort et de qualité supérieur. Conclusion. Ceci est un bon amplificateur pour la qualité/prix . Mais j'ai été habitué a un RX-A870 et je vais racheté un RX-A2A qui s'approche plus a un RX-A870 . Ceux qui ne connaissent pas la qualité d'un RX-A870 vont être heureux avec un RX-V6A . Ooops ! Amazon a changé leur prix qui a était écrit 899$ jusqu'au 6 Janvier et maintenant le 3 est a 1200$.. Vraiment si tu n'est pas capable de tenir ce que tu écrit , un problème existe et je n'achèterai pas un produit qui est hors prix . Un RX-A870 a 400w et un RX-A2A a 360w.... le choix est facile. Je reste avec mon bon vieux 2017 Yamaha RX-A870....Clarté 4K avec un son incroyable .

This was purchased primarily for playing games and watching movies on a PS 5. Very easy set up and integration into the home theatre set up. the music cast app is a must use and makes everything flow nicely as the heart of my sound system!Highly recommend especially when on Black Friday deals!

With the purchase of a new 4K t.v. I had to retire my beloved Marantz amp which was limited to 1080P. This amp can pass thru up to an 8K signal. It has all of the newest bells and whistles including things like Dolby Atmos. I don't find it as powerful or as warm as my Marantz amp for music but still very good and delivers strong audio for movies and newer TV shows with high end audio. This amp was on sale and had a payment plan with no interest which made this a no brainer purchase. Great amp for the money.

I'm partial to Yamaha receivers to begin with and the RX-V6A doesn't disappoint, though the setup is kind of oddball, but it works. I am very pleased with the new look. The sound is great for the size of the room I have it set up in and the multiple digital and analog inputs is great, no complaints. For the price a lot is packed into this model. I'm very happy with it. Networked and Wi-Fi are great, as is Bluetooth, no issues with connections to the internet. I highly recommend the RX-V6A.

Works well and is easy to set up. Has exceptional sound for the price range and far more features then I expected. A great option for people not wanting to go down the rabit hole of diminishing returns.

Just got it for Christmas after using v4a for while.I like this one better. L No issues. Runs like a charm! Great look, immersive sound and price is ok. Completely satisfied. Klipsch speakers too:)
