I have been feeding my turtle for10 years this product. They have different size pellets and formula for different size turtles. My turtle is large and measures 8 inches across now. I use as a staple and supplement other food also in his diet.

My fussy eater enjoys 'hunting' these as they float on the surface. He had refused other turtle foods but this one is perfect for him. Quality product and a great price for the huge amount you receive.

This was larger then I expected and my turtles love these pellets. I have been feeding my turtles these pellets for years. This is their main staple mixed with some other various snacks or feeders. Great food and great value for turtle food. (Turtles are 12 and 15 years old)

Our turtle loves her kibble. She is too stubborn to eat greens so we're glad she eats this and that it's formulated properly for adult turtles. Great price for this container on Amazon, lasts us for months.

I bought these to replace Hikari turtle pellets that my local pet shop stopped bringing in. The pellets were larger than expected, but is still a good fit for one of my older terrapins. Most importantly is that my terrapins get the ideal nutrients required for their age. Hikari turtle pellets were at 40% protein content, but these Zoo Med maintenance ones are only 25% protein content. Hence, it may be a good idea to supplement it with some higher protein treats (e.g. shrimps).

My turtles don't love to eat these but they eat it regardless. The price to quantity is good. The turtles will take awhile to get used to eating the food, and you can get away with feeding it to growing turtles but I wouldn't recommend it. Definitely not for small turtles.Edit: Its been over a month now and at first I got these because one of my turtles wouldn't eat the regular shrimp that I feed it but now that all of the turtles have gotten to enjoy the Zoo med stuff and they love it. I do have to say, sometimes a turtle won't eat for a week, 2 weeks, or in my case almost 2 months...the turtle has its own separate reason for doing so. The Zoo med won't fix that but its probably also not the reason its not eating.

The best food out there for the quantity and the price! It lasts long even with my two adult turtles. They love it and are healthy; this food is great quality/well-formulated as a primary diet.

C'est la nourriture principale de mes deux tortues de 14 ans. En alternance avec des crevettes fraiches et des endives, elles adorent et sont en pleine forme.Précision: les croquettes sont prévues pour des tortues de plus de 15cm de plastron. Elles existent en taille plus petite pour les tortues plus petites.
