1.Discharge the new battery use to 5%(not to 0%) and then charge to 95%, and cycle 3-4 times.
2.Do not disassemble, crush or puncture. Do not dispose of in fire or water.
3.If you remove battery for a long time, charge more than 80% at least one time within one months.
4.Don't connect adapter for a long time while using the battery. It may damage the battery.
5.When using the battery, care should be taken to prevent exposure and moisture.

Install A New Battery:
1, You need to turn off your laptop and disconnect the power.
2, Disconnect the connection between the old battery and the motherboard to avoid unnecessary damage caused by disassembling the battery. Then unscrew the old battery screws one by one and carefully save each screw.
3, Remove the old battery, carefully install the new battery on the battery case, screw in the screw, and connect the wiring of the new battery.

4.Replace AC power.

I purchased this battery for my Lenovo ThinkPad X1C 6th Gen in 2021. Installation was easy enough, few small philips screws, and it is in.Quality doesn't look super good, way worse than original battery (which was also made in China)Laptop is charging ok, battery life is little bit less than original battery, but not terribly less, around 5% less charge.I hope it will last

Had to go aftermarket because Lenovo no longer makes this part. Fits perfectly and powers right up. No issue. Not all aftermarket parts are tge same. Had no boot problems with one from a different vendor previously. Thus one works great.

Battery life is around 2 hours which is nowhere near the suggested battery life. My laptop is unable to start without a charger.Update:Seller contacted me quickly after I had issues and immediately shipped a new replacement. Will update the review based on the new battery.

My Lenovo battery was a consistent 0.2 inches thick, this replacement was thicker in one area and it interfered with closing the back cover of the laptop.Tough to capture in photos, but the first pic shows how thick each battery is relative to the same size laptop bolt.Returned this and got the one by RDSJK which fit perfectly and seems to have higher quality construction.
