Install A New Battery:
1, You need to turn off your laptop and disconnect the power.
2, Disconnect the connection between the old battery and the motherboard to avoid unnecessary damage caused by disassembling the battery. Then unscrew the old battery screws one by one and carefully save each screw.
3, Remove the old battery, carefully install the new battery on the battery case, screw in the screw, and connect the wiring of the new battery.

Q: Why my computer didn't recognize this battery or I install this battery and it doesn't seem to work?
A: The reason is residual power stored in the laptop components that was preventing the battery from working properly. Please disconnecting the old battery, and holding down the power button for 20 seconds, then connect the new battery. Fast delivery and working battery. Replaced dead chrome book 11 battery with this. Quick, easy and cheap (plus, let my 8 year old do the work, so now he can “fix” his computer!). Expecting long life of battery will update if it isn’t.

Received the battery quickly and it looked nice. However, it would not charge. The charger light was on and the computer charging light was on, but the battery did not increase its charge. I will be returning it this week.I returned it and got a new one the next day! This one worked perfectly so I have increased my rating from 1 star to 4.

After posting this, the company was prompt in responding in wanting to make this experience right. They sent me a replacement and it is working great! That is why I changed it to 5 Stars.We got this battery back in September of 2019 and replaced the previous battery that was in our Dell Chromebook because it kept dying on my wife and had to be plugged in all the time. Now this is doing the same thing. It is very disappointing that we spent as much money as we did and now, six months later, we are in the same position we were before. Do they not make reliable batteries? Does anyone know if there is a battery that will last at least 2-3 years before having to be replaced? Or is it standard procedure to make cheap batteries to last only six months so that the companies can make more money selling garbage? Any ideas where I can get a reliable computer battery? Any insight would be helpful.
