This emergency blanket, priced at $15 for a pack of six, is a good deal. It's compact enough to carry in a bag, and especially during winter it is great as an emergency equipment. When wrapped under a coat, it provides excellent insulation. However, once unfolded, it's nearly impossible to refold, making it essentially a disposable item.Although the advertised size is 160x210cm, actual measurements of an unfolded blanket were 150x210cm. The blanket is a very thin sheet that tends to tear along its length. Extra care is needed when unfolding it to avoid tearing. This is particularly important if you plan to use it as a tarp or tent, as suggested in the product description.

These Thermal Emergency Outdoor Survival Blankets are a must have for any first aid kit, survival kit or camping kit. They're very lightweight and take up no space at all measuring about the same size as a standard deck of playing cards 11.5 cm x 7 cm x 1.5 cm (4.5" x 3" x 1/2") when they're folded up. Once unfolded, these blankets measure 210 cm x 160 cm (82.5" x 63") and will provide protection against wind and rain and help you retain body heat if you wrap yourself in one.The material is extremely thin (less than 1 mm) but it's quite durable so you can easily wrap it around yourself to help keep you warm, line your sleeping bag to keep cold ground level air for getting through to you, or use them as an emergency shelter or wind block.I'll be putting a blanket in each of the first aid kits that my wife and I carry in our vehicles, adding one to each of the back packs that we use when we go camping/hiking and leaving the other two at our cabin for emergencies.This six pack was a great buy and I would highly recommend that everyone have at least one or two handy, particularly if you're spending any time outdoors in the wilderness. Highly recommended!
