Great tasting water and certified as to purity. On first filter change could not get filter cartridge not to leak water. Ended up ruining the counter base due to a slow leak. Contacted support and they sent out replacement housing which still leaked. They next sent out the main body and I had to fiddle around with the cartridge in order for it not to leak. Did not trust this system not to leak so I removed it and replaced it with a different system.

Sept 26, 2024This is my 2nd edit of my original review. I must be fair to Aquasana and report that it was OUR ERROR that water stopped flowing from my Aquasana unit. Though we managed to replace the cartridges, we FAILED to line them up perfectly with those little plugs (because the tops spin around). THAT'S why water wasn't flowing!We finally took the unit off the bracket and looked at it upside-down and went, "OHHHH!" NOW we can see what we're supposed to do. So now everything is working great again and I'm once again drinking fresh, delicious water.It makes me wonder now if my niece had dumped her Aquasana (previous post) in haste because she believed it no longer worked, but perhaps she hadn't properly seated the cartridges. We'll never know now.I'm giving my Aquasana 5 stars again!****************************I first wrote my original review on August 15, 2024, after being in love with my Aquasana unit for 3 years.NOW, TODAY – no water will come out!!My niece – the one mentioned in my original review – came over to change cartridges that I had just purchased, and she did some troubleshooting. She can't figure it out. By the way, she also just recently dumped her Aquasana unit because HERS stopped working! What's with these things? Is 3 years all you get out of them? I'm terribly disappointed but really I'm just downright angry! Now I DO know why they're only coming in at 3.8 stars.****************************August 15, 2024I've had my Aquasana unit working for me now for 3 years. I've replaced the cartridges just once so far.I don't know why reviews come in at only 3.8 for this thing. I love mine and give it 5 stars! I would never drink tap water and man I hated buying water. $$$!My niece lives around the corner from me and every couple of weeks she would fill gallon jugs for me using HER Aquasana. I finally bought my own unit and I'm so glad I did. This purified water keeps my Keurig from malfunctioning as I only put Aquasana water in it. My first Keurig took a dump in less than a year because I used tap water in it. So I got a new one and put only Crystal Geyser water in it until my niece started refilling my jugs. I've had this Keurig now for 8 years (same exact model as the first one but I removed that little filter thing) and it's still working great cuz I've never used tap water in it. Heavy metals and deposits are probably why Keurigs are always breaking down.Anyhoo, I drink a lot more water now and it's great having good tasting water at my fingertips anytime I want. No more buying water and having plastic bottles and jugs everywhere! Doesn't matter how much replacement cartridges are because it's still cheaper than constantly buying water. Anyone sitting on the fence about this should reconsider because this makes very good drinking water!

I bought a new unit 6 years ago, then another new unit last year to use the new canisters. I've changed the filters eleven times, cleaning the canisters, replacing the rubber washers when needed, carefully hand-tightening, and often leakage issues. I've just installed the second new unit when there was no flow today after a filter change, and a complete fail -- too late to return. The canisters fill with water and are dry outside, but no flow to the tap. Removed the tap hose altogether, no flow from the unit (towels ready if there was). Everything clean and new.Works when you get it working and dry, but I give up on the brand. Have ordered a different one altogether.

I do not know why this item is offered on Singapore site because you won't be able to install it due to different pipe/thread sizes in SG vs US. You will have to buy and adapter which is not widely available.Also the supplied pipes length are too short so you are not free to choose convenient location of the tap

Got this to replace the Pur on tap filter and it works great. Now I can use any kitchen faucet and still have filtered water.Beware for overseas users though, the fittings are for US plumbing and I had to make multiple runs to the hardware store to get this installed properly.Update - May 2023: The Claryum A canister (red) was leaking quite badly… Aquasana Support was prompt to send a replacement but that was leaking also, albeit slower… Support then suggested to swap the cap with another canister and it worked! So far…So gonna knock down a star. Those who have leaking canisters can try to swap the caps and see if it works.

I purchased this in May 2018. it did improve the taste of the water and we liked it. however, like previous two reviewers mentioned. it breaks after a while. the material of the casing is defective! I heard hissing sound last night after go to sleep. So I went down kitchen to check (glad a did) it was leaking water like crazy! water everywhere and got into basement.I will stay away this product until they use better material for the casing.

Pros: easy to install, water quality is fine to drink. Before Aquasana I was using Brita over the counter filter and I was getting 160-170 TDS. With Aquasana I am getting almost similar TDS (around 160-170) which is still good. But keep in mind that this filter is not built only to reduce TDS. This filter does what it is designed for. My Tap water was little heavier (230-250 TDS). Probably, just a carbon filter would have been sufficient. But Aquasana 5300.56 is a good affordable filter and two additional filters along with carbon filter won’t do any harm. I, therefore, decided to get this filter. I have read reviews that connections leak after couple of years. I will have to wait and see (I will update if it leaks). So far it is good.Cons: nothing much. Flow rate is a bit low but this is not a kitchen faucet. I found the flow ok for a drinking water faucet. Only challenge for me was to drill a hole in my steel sink and tightening the faucet nut under the sink because it was hard to reach. For drilling I used step drill bit and it was quick. For tightening the nut, I tried basin wrench and needle plier. The plier worked in my case.

We are 2 80 year olds. Easy to install under the counter. Does not take up a lot of room. The water is Clear and tastes really good basically there is NO taste at all. We recommend this system.

Super equipo AQ-5300 (filtros cortos), facil de instalar, funcionamiento muy bien,pero.... Amazon MX vende el equipo, pero no los filtros, solamente venden los filtros largos para AQ-5300 +.Los filtros cortos solamente ofrecen en Amazon USA, pero no mandan a Mexico,muy mal, muy malNo compran!!!

No issues with the installation; very easy and the instructions easy to follow. Wife is happy with the flow and the taste of water (That is all that matters). The only thing I found is that the ends of the lines were not cut square; the cut was in an angle and bit wiggly. If they are not square they can leak in quick connect fittings (Working as a handy man in the past taught me that the hard way). I easily corrected that with my utility knife, but something so simple should be corrected from the assembly line before packaging.

I like it.Water tastes good and installation was very simple. The faucet matches the style of our main faucet, and that makes my wife happy about it so yeah, all good :)Only downside is the water flow, that is not very fast.Overall, especially for this price, very very hard to beat. Would buy again and recommend.
