My pet Timneh parrot loves to ring these bells. He can detach them after a lot of play, but they can easily be reattached to the fabric using string. It is great that the bell is so big that it won't fall through the bars at the bottom of the cage. I don't need the scilencing bag, so I just cut it off before I hang them up.

I bought these for my dogs to wear while hiking. The Velcro strap attaches easily to their harnesses and the bells remain securely attached. The bells are medium loud when the dogs are moving. My only issue with the bells is the mesh bag with the magnet that holds the bells when not in use. The bag is attached to the Velcro by a string, so when you use the bell it hangs there. Eventually as you move, the magnet in the bag catches the bell and it stops ringing. I tried various ways to tuck the bag so this would not happen, but it never worked for a sustained amount of time. Eventually, I cut the string holding the bag to the Velcro, so the magnet would not catch the bells while hiking. Not a big deal and the bag can still be used to store the bells when not in use. Overall, I am pleased with the bells, but wish the design holding the magnet was different.

Meine Hunde,Frei Läufer in der Natur, haben seit Jahren diese Bimmeln um, ersten weiß man wo diese sind und Zweitens wird das Wild gewahrt Achtung! da kommt jemand der als Gefahr wird..Ich habe bisher nur gute Erfahrung damit gemacht, das Wild kann ohne Schrecken das Weite aufsuchen ein guter Jagd Kollege hatte Mir dies schon vor Jahren empfohlen als ich noch Jagd-Hunde hatte

Full disclosure, I've hiked many places where there are bears and I've never used bells, whistles, spray, or any other kind of deterrent. Not sure why but I bought these thinking it's better to have something than nothing at all I guess? Actually, my adult daughter hikes with us a lot and she likes to forge ahead, so my thought was that she'd at least be making some noise while "walking alone."I love that these have a "silence mode" to keep them quiet when you don't want to hear them jingling. Mine stayed in silent mode for our entire hiking trip except for one day hike we did that was not busy with other people.These are nice to have, light weight and not to annoying of jingle sound.NOTE: At first I thought the silencer (magnet in the bag) wasn't working very well, as I could still hear a faint rattle, less of a jingle. I realized the bell has to be situated just right for the magnet to "grab" it. Once you get it connect, no noise at all!

I think it should work, but the bears put up a pretty mean fight convincing them to wear it. Similar to getting pants on my 3 year old after bath time

The bell is ok but definitely the quality is not the same as my older Coghlan's bell. The velcro is not swen on very. The bell itself is not completely round like the older models. The bells are now bent into shape . This causes the bell not to be as loud.
