This coat is so vibrant and gorgeous. We purchased for our 9 year old daughter. Don't be fooled by reviews that say "not for Canadian winters". It is made with Columbia's Omni-Heat technology so the lining will reflect and hold body heat. Basically, a great winter coat without the bulk of a traditional winter jacket.

Purchased a beautiful red colour, my daughter loves this coat, it keeps her warm without being puffy and thick. Sizing was perfect, just read the sizing chart.

I ordered a size large jacket a size extra large in red for my 11 year old tall, average weight daughter. The large jacket was mislabeled, the tag on the jacket itself was marked as small but the paper tag was listed as large. The jacket itself is great, nice red color. Easy to spot in the school yard and on the hill, fits true to size. The extra large has room to grow. Will update once we received the proper large jacket for that fit.

Great coat, rain bounces off of it. Bought this coat for my 11 year old girl. She is 5'3''. The jacket is a bit big and loose on the bottom part. Hope it will fit better this winter.

Well made, definitely a fall/early winter coat. Can't see it being used in the dead of winter, unless the temperature is on the mild side. Love the hood. :)UPDATE: As it turns out, the recipient wears this all the time, she LOVES it. Being from Southern California, and now living in B.C., she feels cold much easier than other kids. It still fits, even after nearly two years. :)
