The multi-cut mechanism works in steps by keeping the blade engaged with the branch & then resetting for the next full cut. Repeat the ratcheting action until the branch is cut all the way through. The tool body is a full aluminum construction & features comfort gel grips for superior comfort & less hand fatigue. The non-stick, high carbon steel blade provides enhanced cutting performance.

The anvil counter blade broke in half, went flying off in the bush. Had been using it for just 30 minutes. Worthless and dangerous.

I have been using these to prune and clear weeds in the garden. They cut through thick branches with ease. The grip is comfortable, and the blade is sharp and strong.

I have a hand shear from a well known company, purporting to be ergonomic. They never felt comfortable and never were sharp, even when they were new. But, they were a gift. Bought several items from corona and they’re all fantastic. These shears are sharp, comfortable, strong and bright red, so I can find them wherever they get dropped on the ground. I use common sense with larger branches. If the blades bow out, the branch is too thick and I need to use a larger cutting implement. These are perfect for delicate stems, stubborn roots and woody branches, especially the live ones that are still green, owing to their sharpness. They’re my new go to in the garden. Price was excellent.4/19/24: Update I used these to cut thick roots growing in wet mud. They’re amazing. They sliced right through a 1” root with ease, even with my small hands. SMH at how great these are.

First use - fell apart. The pivot nut and bolt fell out, and became lost in the garden after approx 30 minutes of trimming soft stems.Frustratingly, I'm unable to find the replacement parts on the Corona website. And the company's warranty does not cover lost parts! My husband has tried several times to fix the problem with alternative bolts, but they subsequently fail.Very dissatisfied with this purchase, and with no recourse to have them repaired or refunded.Don't purchase!!!

The pin that controls the two handles falls out and makes the pruners unusable. This happened with the first pair but I bought a second and it happened again. Last time for me!!

These are the best ratcheting pruners available, this purchase was a replacement. These are the best, all other pruners were given away,

I was really impressed with the RatchetCUT's preformance. Easy on the hands and cut through a branch with no problems.
