Like the ease of installing, cleaning, as it is on a 1.5 tri clamp ferrell. Plugs in from my PID controller with 10/3 SO cable. It is expensive, but for me, sealing the ends on a screw connected heater, time, components to buy, is not for me. A "elegant" solution.

This element is awesome! Very easy to clean. Love that it has a Tri Clamp fitting and a twist lock for power connection. Easy to install setup and work with safely. Works perfectly with a PID controller. This was the biggest element available to fit in a 20 liter kettle. Very fast heat up comes to desired temp in less than 25 minutes.

Use 4 of these in a 3bbl commercial brew house. Ready to boil at sea level just as we finish sparging. Easy to clean. Tri-clamp makes them easy to service. They run 8-12 hours straight, 4 days a week. They last about 12 months. That is acceptable at this price point.

Perfect RIMS heater. I run this at 120Vac btw. I also use one in my jacket water heater with excellent results.

Worked just like it is supposed to, I use it in a RIMS system for brewing and ave not been disappointed. Would definitely purchase again. I am running 120 volts instead of 220 just to limit scorching of the grains and as worked flawlessly, I have however ran this unit with 220 and haven’t scorched grains either just have to watch flow of wert prior to the grain bed settling, after that it was smoot sailing.

I want one but can not tell how long the unit is,......? My boiler is 10 US gallons but only 12" wide.
