Nice unit, well put together and the included pump refills the pressure tank in less than an hour. Connected all up and there were zero leaks. Removed one star because they use two different sizes of hose. So if you want to install somewhere other than under your sink, you need to buy both 1/4" and 3/8" tubing to do so........Which really makes no sense since the supply line to the unit is 1/4", so there's really no need for 3/8" from the final filter to the tap. Didn't use the supplied feed or drain connectors as I already had them in place. Not sure the supply connector would work for most people, I used a sharkbite 1/2x1/2x1/4 tee with an included shutoff. Made the install a breeze. Drain hose went I to the laundry tub next to where the unit was installed so I didn't use that fitting either. Water tastes great and it's cheaper than buying bottled water!

You are literally making your own bottled water at home with this thing. Most of those are just regular tap water ran through a commercial-grade cascade of filters like these anyway, you just happened to make it at home. What i really love about RO systems like this is the lack of supplier lock-in: if Geekpure stops making it, there are plenty of other manufacturers that use the same parts, fittings, and filters: those are all standard, just find what you like, and if it doesn't fit exactly, it is not hard to make it work. Beyond that all 5 of your filters cost less than the one proprietary filter for your refridgerator, while giving you cleaner (as in lower TDS value) water. Furthermore if tomorrow you want to add a sixth or a seventh stage, just go ahead and add it. If you want a bigger tank, get a bigger tank, any tank from a comparable system, put it on a tee with the existing one and done! It's whatever you make of it.This is my second RO system at home, the first one lasted ~10 years. It still works fine, but I could not find an O-ring for one of the filter housings that fits, so it kept springing leaks and soaking my carpet. I broke down eventually and got another one to replace it and add a few extra features I wanted, namely the booster pump and a bit higher GPD RO capacity. Even so, the old system is not entirely "out of the picture", I kept its tank and most of its filters (RO membrane is for a different capacity). Installation was easy if you've ever done it before, and water came nice and clean at the end. It took me about 2 hours because I had to adapt and reuse the setup for the old system, and also mount it differently: this one is a bit bigger than the old one. I have no complaints. I noticed it came with instructions, which were helpful as in they told me it works exactly like the old system. This RO system is for under-cabinet installation, but as mentioned above, parts age and eventually develop leaks. You would not want to have it someplace it can destroy something that can't get wet. I install mine in the basement and run the water line to the fridge icemaker and a water tap at the kitchen directly above it. The pump is quiet, but I can hear it when I am in the basement. I would not advise anyone use the puncture valve for anything: these always find creative new ways to leak. Just get an icemaker kit with a compression fitting.

This is the 3rd one of these I have purchased. It is great for low water pressure areas. I put the last one in my motorhome so we always have great drinking water. The pressure boost pump works good and is quite. Delivery was very slow, but worth the wait.

Used this to replace our old R/O water system in our kitchen so it was really easy to install. All that had to be done is disconnect the old filter system and connect this one. The tank in this is small so we used our old tank. Guess it’s working well a the water(well) is crystal clear and tastes like R/O water should. Our ice machine is also now able to keep up with our ice usage which is a lot!

This has turned out to be a great purchase. We did have some trouble with the installation; we had received the product in a damaged box and the top of the canister was dented slightly, so we assumed the damage was causing the unit to malfunction. After speaking with the seller, we troubleshooted and were able to get the unit running properly. It is quiet, it is much faster than our old unit, and a little smaller, which allows for more cabinet space. I would recommend having it installed by someone familiar with these units, as it is a little more advanced than our previous one. The seller was very helpful and accommodating, AND gave us a partial refund for the damage to the unit, without us prompting. Highly recommend

This is not the first Reverse Osmosis system I have installed. I replumbed my entire house, I understand how plumbing works. This unit is junk. There's a reason it's relatively inexpensive. I purchased the version with the 5 filters and the booster pump. Upon initial installation, the filter housing on the 3rd stage filter was leaking as soon as the system was put under pressure. I pulled it apart, replaced the o-ring, reassembled it, and it kept leaking. When I took it back apart, I found there were a couple of manufacturing defects in the upper portion of the filter housing that were causing it not to seal correctly with the o-ring. I contacted the manufacturer 3 times on their website, and never got a response. I put in a contact request through Amazon, and all I got back was a generic email about making sure the o-ring was correctly installed and that it was not over tightened, which I had explained in the email I had already checked.Instead of ripping the whole thing out and returning it, I decided to just purchase a replacement housing. More expense, but if it meant I didn't have to rip all the plumbing out, then it was worth it. I got the replacement housing today. To replace the upper portion of the housing, you have to remove the booster pump, not a big deal, just 4 screws. Pulled it off, replaced the housing, connected the tubing, and now no leaks. Great!I went to put the unit back under my sink, plugged the booster pump into the wall, and now it doesn't work. The water is flowing through the system correctly, but the booster pump now will not run. The motor is warm, like it is trying to run, but it does not kick on. I'm now afraid that something is wrong with the booster pump motor, so I'm going to have to disassemble the entire thing from under my sink anyway and return it, and I will likely be out the money I had to spend on the extra housing. Support does not respond through their website, and through Amazon they do not provide anything helpful, only a canned response. Had the potential to be a great system, but after 3 weeks of dealing with it, it's time to move on.Save the headache, buy something that's better quality and has actual support.

The pump makes all the difference for RO systems !This is definitely the best flow-rate I've ever seen and no trouble at all to get the system properly started up. We have 42 PSI water pressure at the faucet which is the bare minimum required so I was happy to see this unit comes complete with a booster pump. It maintains pressure within the RO unit and water tank at 60 PSI. In addition this pump has 2 external pressure switches rather than a single pressure switch inside the pump which presumably provide much better feedback as to the pressure before and after the membrane and ensures more reliable operation on the part of the booster pump. ie: it will run when it should and NOT when it shouldn't. For example I was happy to see the pump did NOT run when the system was dry.I've bought and installed ten RO systems for my home since 1979 and every one had to be frequently tweaked and fiddled with to keep the flow rate at even a minimally acceptable rate, especially during the first couple of decades. This unit was mostly assembled. There were absolutely NO LEAKS. The fittings are all o-ring type and come with locking clips. The unit needed to be mounted on a wall (under the sink if you want) with 2 screws. Thankfully this was the first unit with the screw slots vertical instead of horizontal. The hoses then needed to be installed: city water in, drain water out, faucet, tank. Then plug in the pump to 110VAC supply and turn on the water.Check for leaks. Run the water until the PPM drops to acceptable levels (under 20 PPM). You need a TDS meter for this, available on Amazon for about $20.Wait for the pump to stop before assuming there are no leaks. It takes some time to fill the tank and equalize the pressure in the membrane, tank, and faucet.I was happy to see a one-way check valve meaning the higher water pressure in the RO unit cannot feed back into the city water supply which could be dangerous for many reasons and illegal in many cities. The filters needed to be installed which is quite easy if you ensure the O-rings are properly seated into the groove of the screw-on cap for the three pre-filters. Screw the lids on slowly and carefully using the provided wrench. You don't want to wrinkle an o-ring and cause a leak. If they do tend to wrinkle, you can lightly coat the exposed part of the o-ring with vegetable oil so it will not stick as the cap is screwed on. Do NOT use something inedible or unsanitary for this! A spare set of o-rings is provided in case you damage one.The membrane is more intimidating but the installation instructions are clear and I doubt that you can make a mistake. The faucet provided is quite beautifully finished and high quality. Another plus because every RO I've purchased before this one had the cheapest faucet available. The drain circuit is interesting! It includes a nice large built in flow restrictor - rather than the tiny piece of plastic usually inserted in the end of the drain hose. There is a valve to bypass the flow restrictor. When this valve is opened the back-pressure maintained by the flow restrictor is immediately released into the drain hose which provides the ability to drain the excess pressure from the unit for servicing. Be sure this valve is closed once the system starts up.We live in a big city with good water treatment facilities but the pipes carrying the water to our homes are made of concrete. The water thus arrives at my house with over 400 PPM dissolved solids. Apparently this is dissolved concrete from the pipes as the water treatment plant supposedly puts water with zero PPM into those pipes.Do your body a favor. Live longer and healthier drinking pure water but remember to add sufficient minerals to your diet !You can also add mineral post-filter(s) if desired although I believe a good mineral supplement in my diet is best. I use the supplement that provides 65 minerals.Good luck with your installation :)

Came a very good packed box. Installation was very seamless, but couldn't avoid small flood though - the tube to the tank was having bad cut and it started to leak water when tank pressure approached to max. Also I wish that the faucet nut could be winged-nut, cause it is really hard to put it on in hard accessible place like back side of a sink is actually. After this small flood I had to buy LBS-10 leak detector with auto shut off valve aka "marriage saver" and all is working perfectly.
