In fact you can't tell it is a genuine grohe product (no logo / marking on the surface which is the same as my previous grohe shower hose). It works well in my existing grohe shower kit though.

This is a very well made product. It is clearly superior. I bought 3 cheap ones they eithe leaked or had a bad plastic smell. Finally I replaced it with this and instantly I can see why it was three times the price. There is no doubt in my mind that this will last years upon years

Fixed the issue that my old one had, eventually they get stiff and unmovable. the life span is good for about 8-9 years. no more blowing water through the tubing and flooding the shower!

It does take a bit more torque to get a good seal, but otherwise a good hose. The first generation lasted almost 12 years.
