This glass comes pre-installed with a good pre-cut 3M double sided sticky tape. Glass is a perfect fit. Hardest part of replacment process was trying to get the old glass out without scratching the lens. I I used tweezers to break and peel the rest of the glass off. Then used asmall flat blade screwdriver to clean the outer edges where the bezel meets the glass. Wipe down GENTLY with a microfiber towel ($3 at Walmart in the car accessory aisle if you don't have any) and blow it off just make sure you don't spit all over it. It will make a mess so vacuum up the area to get all the glass shards. Just peel, stick on and apply firm pressure to the face of it and let it sit somewhere room temperature to ensure good adhesion.

So, I picked up this replacement protective glass for my Mini 2 after the old one cracked. Here’s the deal: it’s a solid fix but needs some TLC when you’re swapping it out.Taking the old glass off is a bit of a mission. You pretty much gotta break it and then carefully scrape out those tiny glass bits without scratching the camera. It’s like defusing a tiny glass bomb, so take it slow and watch out.If you’ve got a heat gun, that’s your best buddy here. Warm up the glue, and that old glass will pop out way easier. It’s like magic!Now, here’s the good news—the new glass? It’s a carbon copy of the old one. Fits like a glove, no fuss, no muss. Perfect replacement job, I’d say.Overall, swapping this glass out for the new one was a bit delicate, but it’s a perfect match once you’re done. Just take your time, maybe use a heat gun if you’ve got one, and you’ll be golden.

Once I had the old glass removed, this glass went on in seconds. You don’t even need any glue, as it comes with adhesive already attached. Simply peel off the backer, align, and press into place. I test flew the aircraft and the picture quality is excellent; just like new!
