Worked well enough, there wasn't really enough adapter sizes to be able to press the balljoint out (I resorted to the old school way of the hammer), but pressing it in was good. Enough adapters for it to press in a lower balljoint on a 2000 Honda Prelude SH. Good quality tool, very heavy duty, much better value than the equivalent in store press kits.

I used this for 2 ball joints so far. The clamp and plates are solid but the tubes and rod could be stronger. The tube ends are a bit deformed after use and the threaded pin gets torn up under pressure and leaves metal shavings. I'd spend more next time for steel quality + more pieces but this does the job for ball joints, u joints ect.

Note to seller: I've seen where the first set had failed. There is a hollow portion in between the forcing rod and the rotating end piece it is the weak link.UPDATE: Seller reached out to me with a resolution I will change this review once it's fulfilled.ENDING: Resolution delivered. Splendid! The replacement kit arrived and worked flawlessly and now my car is back on the road.Final Notes: Pressing tubes and caps had good range and size combinations.Looks and finish is standard.Material is made of steel.Thickness and gauges of the steel used is acceptable.Easy to use for ball joint installs.Thank you!

This kit comes with a HUGE C-Clamp forcing screw that is significantly larger than those that come with wheel bearing removal and installing tools.I had to remove the original lower ball joints on my 20 year old Honda Civic that lived all its life in the Salt Belt and after liberally greasing the threads on the forcing screw, it worked perfectly, although it did max out my large electric impact gun.Although it works great as it is, I believe that using a fine threaded screw and deeper, closer tolerance threads on the clamp body would significantly improve it.Do note that the tool is very large and is probably unsuitable for use in situ in the car - I had to take the spindle out and work on the ball joint on my work bench.
