Your cart is empty.Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Automatic Shut-Off Valve with Quick-Connect fittings, 1/4" - Allows your system to turn off the water supply when the tank pressure reaches approximately 65% of the supply water pressure; - 1/4" fitting; - Easy to install, as the picture shown. The "in & out" markings are on the top of the valve. The top side of the valve is the high pressure side and the bottom side is the low pressure side. The high pressure from the filter housings goes to the "in" on the top of the valve. Then the high pressure "out" goes to the membrane housing inlet. The membrane housing low pressure outlet connects to the "in" on the bottom side of the valve. The "out" on the bottom goes to the tank. Remark: Continual drain problem can be caused by different factors, including automatic shut-off valve, check valve, flow restrictor, or tank pressure. Replacing the ASV may not help if the problem is caused by other factors.

Arrived on time and it's a good quality Item although In & Out valves are not clearly identified as it is in the ISpring OEM RO System (red marked on Jhon Guest quick connect fitting), I had to figure it out since the mark is almost imperceptible.

Here you go, lessons I learned the hard way (my ASO valve would not operate correctly):1) Make SURE you understand the IN & OUT ports and hook up the lines correctly to ASO valve.2) Use ONLY hard lines to interconnect (dont use clear lines from home depot, they are too soft and valve wont shutoff correctly).3) Keep all hard tube lengths to ASO valve as short as possible.4) On all connections make sure the tubes push all the way down5) On all post carbon filters, post filters, etc...dont plug tubing directly into these filters, always use a push in connector first then push your tube into those connectors.I did all above and fixed my ASO valve RO system operation.

Not only did this not work, it also sounded like there was a motorcycle under my sink while it was running. Ended up going to water depot and buying one there for 3x the price but it did work. Get what you pay for I guess.

Man this thing is loud. During tank fill - loud high pitched squealing happens. Not like it’s quick...the sound goes on the length of time it takes to fill the tank back up...gradually gets quieter near the end. Horrible.70psi at the membrane, if that matters.

This stopped my never-ending drain issue with my iSpring RO System I got back in 2013. When you refill your tank with pressure, this can make the drain problem show up a little easier.You can check if it's the ASO valve vs the check valve by turning off the tank valve, but leave the inlet valve open (that comes from your house water supply). If it continues to drain then the ASO valve could be bad.. If you do the opposite (turn on tank valve, off inlet water supply) and it stops draining then it's most likely the ASO valve.Some tips for installation:Make sure you buy extra RO tubing with this so you can put new tubing on at the same time, especially if your old ASO valve has screw on fittings like mine did.Push the tubes in pretty forcefully into the quick connect fittings, if you don't push past the rubber ring inside, it will leak at that fitting. You can take the little plastic lip piece out to see where the rubber ring is to get an idea of what you will need to push past. There are some good youtube videos on how to install these correctly if you are still stuck.Before you put the RO system back, leave it out for 10-15 minutes with everything turned on to make sure nothing leaks. If any of the quick connects are leaking, see the note above about pushing it past the rubber ring. You can use petroleum jelly if it's being really stubborn.

Very easy installation. Installed the shut-off valve in about 1 minute and it works flawlessly with no issues or noise created. It does not require any special tools or help to install and most anyone should be able to install it on their own.

The one that came with the water filter system broke only after 5 months. I got a replacement and that one lasted longer, for a year and 8 months. We'll see how long the new one will last. As for how the device functions and the installation with the quick connect, it is great. Durability not as good.

I bought this item in Jan of 2015. So far it works pretty good. This is an easy install part and don't need any licensed plumber. The seller is very kindly and even followed up with me 9 months later. I would recommend it.
