Perfect for organizing children's toy's. This shelf was very easy to put together and the instructions are very easy to understand. I was looking for something to organize my child's Lego. I really like this set comes with safety to secure it to the wall!You can also use (gorilla glue) and make this shelf unit super strong.

I bought three, two for my daughter's playroom and one for my craft room. they are awesome, with the three I bought i was able to use the left over pieces to make one a twelve block. my daughter is almost two and these hold up to her playing and pulling stuff off of them. They do take some time to put together but they are worth it.

Amazing!! Love Love Love ! 10 out of 10.. easy instructions, easy to put together (a lil time consuming/tedious).. It holds ALL of my books and I have a little room for more. For 40 bucks you just can’t beat it. Sturdy but I do suggest nailing it on the wall for security if using for heavy items. Other than that I have no complaints and WILL be buying another when I get more books to fill it. I wouldn’t buy for decoration as it’s not “fancy” but for on the nicer cheap end and if you plan to use it like me, definitely buy now

Very simple to put together, even though it was a bit time consuming. I chose to do a different shape that what was listed ans I was not shocked when I was left with extra parts. I'll be using it as a kids school stuff, bookshelf. Pretty sturdy as well since I put it in a 4-4-4-3-2 i put 4 stars as I'm not entirely sure how well this is going to hold up to 16lb cats, rambunctious dogs and of course, a 5 yr old. We shall see.

Exactly what I expected. I am pretty pleased with this purchase. I was worried about its ability to hold weight but as you can see, I have had no problems loading it up. My partner estimates we have approx 250lbs on it currently and it is still standing.It does have a slight lean to it which makes me nervous. I can’t imagine trying to move it, I would keep it whole instead of taking it apart and trying to do that jigsaw puzzle again.The “shelves” are made of four hollow rods with waterproof woven nylon pulled tightly over the rods. This makes it difficult to stand small objects on it as they will lean or tip over. They are somewhat of an awkward size as standard cube boxes aren’t wide enough and ikea cubes are too tall. It is nice to have the extra space though, I often put decorations beside the cube in the extra space.I love the customization available to the shelf. I was able to keep one cube off in order to keep my light switch accessible.Over all it’s good for the price and what I needed. If I were to buy another I might look for one with sturdier shelves.

Easy to assemble except didn’t realize there were “end” pieces so had to re-do. It is sturdy enough for my needs. There were quite a few poles left over. Don’t know what to do with them?

I needed some extra storage space in the kitchen for food and had an empty wall. I didn't want the expense of cabinets (huge expense) and had specific requirements with regards to size. This unit fit perfectly. Now, it's not easy to assemble. It's not difficult, but it takes a bit of time, so plan on an hour unless you have some help. Take your time, and, if you want to have the back cover, make sure you read the instructions to know when to apply it. I didn't, and realized it far too late to start over. It's okay, I don't mind seeing my wall, but others might want the back. I store lots of food including plenty of 1/2 to 3/4 gallon jugs of juice, big units of paper plates, and other heavy stuff. I did anchor my unit to the wall for safety sake. If you need a lot of inexpensive storage, you'll be pleased with this set of cubes.

This product is not intended for books even light ones .It is a piece of junk . I tried so many times to put it together and then take it apart as it was always so wobbly.Cheap materials even for the rods .I’m hoping to getMy money back .

It's not bad as a storage shelf, but its very wobbly. My cat keeps jumping on it and I get scared it's going to fall apart. It is also a little annoying to put together, the parts are very cheap and there is really not much quality control involved with them. Many of the aluminum rods are different lengths and quite rough around the edges. Wear gloves while building this. It comes with a little wooden mallet to help hammer the aluminum rods into the plastic holes, but it weighs next to nothing and I'm pretty sure if you used a heavier mallet it would break something. At least there is extra parts in the box if that happens. This is a fine shelf depending on what you're using it for and as long as you're careful with it. I will likely return this and exchange it for something stronger and a little more expensive.

I was committed to modernizing my space with new bookcases and this fit the bill splendidly!I was able to assemble the wall of shelves in about 3 hours. I took my time. The directions arevery simple! Be sure to wear glass proof gloves, as the steel is extremely sharp on the edge and cuts like glass! Hence, a major reason why I took my time. I was able to compose my wall of shelves having purchased 3 boxes of 18-cube extra large bookshelves in black. You will notice the tableau I designed in one of the cubes. I am considering adding others... I am VERY PLEASED in how this came out!!! I especially appreciate the CONSIDERABLE SAVINGS given the cost of bookshelves these days...DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
