Ultra low-profile camera strap and Anchor connection point.
Attach your Peak Design strap (or any standard OEM neck/hand strap) directly to the bottom of your camera in the most low-profile, unobtrusive way possible.
Unlike a tripod plate, Anchor Mount is so small and slim that it won’t hinder access to most battery compartments or flip screens.
Plus, when you connect one end of your strap to Anchor Mount your camera will hang with the lens facing downward—this gives you far more stability and comfort when using longer lenses. Note that Anchor Mount is not tripod or Capture compatible.

My handling style makes side-mounted camera straps a pain. By installing this plate on the base of my camera I am able to relocate for my structure located and hold my camera more ergonomically without the straps getting in the way. The product comes with a tool making it easy to install and remove. The entire product is built from metal, so I have confidence in letting my strap system alone support my camera.

Der Peak Design Anchor Mount wird in einer kleinen Pappschachtel geliefert. In der Schachtel befindet sich der Anchor Mount.Ich verwende diesen Anchor Mount in Verbindung mit der Clutch Kamera Schlaufe. Ich besitze halt mehrere Kameras, aber nur eine Clutch Schlaufe. Den Anchor Mount benötige ich, wenn ich die Clutch an eine Kamera ohne Batteriegriff montieren möchte. An dem Anchor Mount befestige ich ann eine Ankerschlaufe, und an der das untere Teil der Clutch.Fazit:Das kleine "Pippelteil" hat mich knapp 23€ gekostet. Es ist echt gut verarbeitet, und praktisch, aber echt teuer. Daher gebe ich 4 Sterne. Ein Stern für den doch hohen Preis als Abzug!

Buy this only if you want a low profile anchor. This will come free with any peak design strap you buy. If you are investing into Peakdesign Accessory Ecosystem, I would suggest you to get the "Peak Design Dual Plate v2 for Capture Camera Clip" which works with Manfrotto Heads and Arca Swiss Dovetail head or the "PeakDesign Standard Plate for Capture Camera Clip". Both are available in India for less than ₹2000.

I have the Slide strap attached to my super tele-photo lens' tripod collar which is what I use most often however, I also carry/use two other lenses, one being a 300mm zoom lens which is too heavy for the camera strap mounts. I got this extra anchor mount for the camera so I now have a wide variety of points to attach my strap to on the camera as well.

I don't have the Capture Clip, but wanted some options for attaching my straps because in a crowd and when using the normal strap attachment points, the lens protrudes and is subject to being bumped.Attaching one of these anchors to the tripod socket allows the right hand strap to be attached to the bottom of the camera (I'm right handed), which allows the camera to hand more lens down and also shift the rear LCD screen away from my body. This helps to prevent wear and tear and scratches on the screen and these are worth purchasing for that alone.These plates are fairly small and unobtrusive. The screw on the bottom fits flush (allen key included for installation). The slots in the plate are wide enough that even if you are not using Peak Design anchors, you still have the option of attaching your regular strap to one or both slots to find the optimum carry position.No doubt these will become obsolete if I buy a Capture Clip since that uses a bigger, more square shaped base plate. Still, in the meantime these suit my purpose perfectly.

Good solution. My PD strap supports my a6000 like a sling. That's what I wanted.However, i can't use it on my RX100-2 because it blocks the battery-card door.Peek Design customer service is incredible.

Finalmente una piastrina piccola e sottile, non come quelle che incorporano anche la slitta per l'attacco al trepiedi, dove agganciare gli anchor della tracolla. Era ora che capissero che gli utilizzatori della soluzione Peak Design per le tracolle non fossero solo esploratori dell'Artide con sempre al seguito un cavalletto, ma anche fotografi da studio che hanno necessità si di avere una tracolla, ma che questa non intralci continuamente l'impugnatura verticale della fotocamera. Il costo mi sembra adeguato, ma l'oggetto è di una semplicità disarmante e i cinesi capiranno presto che possono fabbricarne uno identico a 50 centesimi.
