Initially seemed to be good quality. After a few uses, the pickle fork design isn't as efficient as others I've used. Metal didn't stand up and I didn't like the quality of the metal and design.

This pickle fork worked perfectly for me. I had to pop ball joints on a 2013 Tahoe with 213k miles which took quite a bit of work, but this held up to being slammed with a 5lb sledge and didn't deform the rod or the forks at all. The forks also have a pretty good thickness/taper to them. I have used other pickle forks that simply stayed too thin throughout the taper and couldn't separate the joints enough, but I did not have that issue with these. Would definitely recommend if you want a nice set of forks without paying crazy prices.

I ordered this so I can use my air hammer chisel with this tool to remove tie rod ands and ball joints. This makes the job so much easier than manually hitting the fork with A 2-pound handheld hammer.
