Within a few months it was flaky—either losing the display signal completely or rarely sending a completely pink image to the screen. A year in it was happening every time I woke the computer and often randomly during use. Replaced with an equivalent official Apple unit and it works flawlessly. It had been used to connect a Mac Studio to a 60HZ 27" Dell monitor via USB-C so was completely stationery and not under any strain.

The adapter seems to be of decedent quality and works as intended. So far I haven’t had any issues and would recommend buying it.

Ho comprato questo dongle per streammare lo schermo del mio xps 15 su uno schermo 4k 60fps.Il dongle incluso nel mio notebook non permetteva questa qualità.

fonctionnait tres bien au debut avec un hdr 8bits, puis par intermitences apres ,avec des bugs graphiques, j’ai prefere le renvoyer tant que cela etait possible apparement produit pas top pour les cartes nvidia rtx d’apres leur site...peut etre parce que le chip dedans date un peu (2016) et n’est pas adapté aux produits actuels....

I love this product as this does exactly as its advertised to do. It does 4K + 60fps + HDR. :)I wanted a cable that does 4K + 60fps + HDR and it DOES ALL THREE!! This is the cable I’ve been looking for!! I just plugged this adapter on my regular HDMI and I got all three on my monitor / TV. I love it.Usually I would get a cable that says it can do all three but only does 4K + 60fps and not HDR. Or I would get a cable that’s 4K + HDR and not 60fps but this does all three and makes my workflow experience much better.10/10 would recommend it to anyone who’s using this for photography / videography purposes — and in my leisure I can watch Netflix / YouTube and view it on full 4K UHD 60fps HDR quality. I love it.

I've been searching for something like this for a long time... I've bought numerous hdmi adapters, usb c hubs who were all claiming they could do 4k/60hz and none of them worked as i wanted... Either 4k 30hz HDR10 or 4k 60hz no HDR10 but this one does it all...4k 60hz all in HDR10. Works on my new Dell 7390 on windows 10. Check out the pics!I 100% recommend it!

Got this to plug my Surface Pro 7 into 4K HDR TVs and it does support HDR output, which most other adapters like this don’t seem to.
