As the title says, I am happy with the actual finished product and outward appearance of this new shower handle, however the instructions were lacking. There is a blown up schematic of the installation, and if you are mechanically inclined, it is relatively straightforward, however the box included a baggie of extra hardware from which only 1 small screw with threadlocker was required. This makes someone installing this for the first time very confused and suggests to them that those extra bits "must go somewhere" despite not being labeled in the schematic. The best installation guide was a picture from the listing which shows all the components in series.Also, my original Moen handle from the builder included one extra plastic component & wave spring which helps make operation of the handle smoother. This was not included in the kit, and I ended up reusing it (goes right behind the wall plate into the middle).Overall, if the kit included this missing component, and the correct hardware without any extra bits to cause confusion, I would've given this product a 5-star rating.

I have been updating my main bathroom to black fixtures, and this was an excellent choice. I only need to update my toilet now. This is an excellent replacement option that will add a more modern style to any bathroom. It was very easy to replace having the proper Moen model and looks amazing.
