Where the strap attaches to the camera, it is made of fake leather or cheap, thin leather, which will wear and break in time...My least expesive gear, body and lens, is valued at over $3,000...Attaching this strap to gear that is worth thousands, will result in the strap failing from the weight of the camera body and lens, wearing the thin cheap or fake leather, causing the strap to snap, whereby the camera will fall to the ground and cause extensive damage...I DO NOT recommend this strap to be attached to anything other than keys and certainly not expensive camera gear!!!

I am surprised at how effective tis "safety" strap is or seems to be. Straps always seem to get in the way. This was attached to the bottom of an SLR at the tripod mounting hole. The function is ideal and simplicity will always sway me. The one weak point is the original attachment point. The small metal ring and leather scuff guard is a joke. Had I not attached the strap as described, my overall opinion would be impacted significantly. For a small camera like a point and shoot it might suffice. For a bigger SLR, that is a valuable item, it really does not.

I have a new camera and large lens and when changing the lens to the smaller one it is awkward in the field. I bought this to keep from dropping the camera during the change. The "string" may be strong enough but it is pretty thin so would not want to trust it with a 3K camera and large lens attached. Small lens and body probably OK.

The rope is a decent quality, but the ring that would attach to the camera came off very easily — due to the weight of the camera.Overall, decent product, but the metal ring would need to be replaced.

its too bulky for me . i didnt like it so i toss .if u can get it cheap price , get dit .maybe i was too pickyso i found an alternative which was a whole lot thinner & more sturdy ( its not used for camera bc no ones knows but i did it for 2 yrs . camera havent dropped to the floor yet )

These are nice enough, but definitely not sturdy enough to support the weight of my camera. The material is very soft, the rings are very light and easy to bend, and the stitching isn't very well done. They will suffice as a backup strap, but I wouldn't rely on them to keep my camera safe.

My thoughts on this item:- My best buy of 2019?- It's price is great and it's a quality item. I have this connected to my Sony Mirrorless and I have complete confidence in it.- The colour is beautiful. I routinely have people asking about the strap and complementing it.- Incredibly comfortable.Seriously, just buy it.

It's a comfortable wrist strap with some elasticity with it that's not restricting. The extra part they sent is useless and doesn't add value. However, the overall price is very cheap and very competitive.
