Fantastic unit for the cost. Fairly quiet. Only problems are the remote doesn't show the functions of the fan, and the top display is a little confusing. Overall, good job!

It is supposed to be a 10,000 BTU cooler, but it does not do that at all, more like a 5000 BTU unit

No complaints .this AC unit is compact. easy to install in the window. Directions were easy to follow and easy to operate. Not super heavy great for smaller spaces.

Received and unboxed both units … they look nice and motors work… but have spent the last three days trying to attach the exhaust tube to the units you fight to get one end in and it falls out as you try to attach at window.. even when I got both ends loosely attached I turned on machine and one end opened off of attachment

Love this machine so far, no leaking and only need to drain every few days. It works very well. Had a minor "issue" where I needed to contact support but it was just because we had the child lock on. They were fast responding, so fast that we had figured it out before they responded. The person I talked to via email seemed really nice and eager to help had we of has a legit issue!

The Costway portable is great during very hot summer-like conditions. It blows out cold air with the adjustable thermostat. The hot air is discharge through the rear using the window exhaust. There are different settings for your desire. It cooled our living room quite fast. The only need improvement is the fan speed. It has only low/high speed. The could of implemented two more speed. When the fan speed is on low, the noise level is there. It is not 50db, close to 60db. The casters make it easy move the unit to different part of the house to setup. Overall, it is a good portable air conditioner.

It shoots out enough cold air and keeps our master bedroom and master bathroom cool enough. It is quiet. I'm glad I got it.The only con is the condensation. The manual doesn't tell you where the tank is and stuff, and I didn't know how to empty it. The nozzle to empty it is at the very bottom, so you can't put any kind of a bowl or anything to catch the water. After less than 24 hours, the water started to leak and wetted my wooden floor. i didn't know what to do, so I rolled it out to the front door and tilted it towards the deck. The water came pouring out of the nozzle.Basically, you just have to empty it every 15 hours or so to avoid wetting the floor. It is very heavy, all you can do is to tilt it.Over all, though, it's doing what it's supposed to do. For the price, I am happy with my purchase.

Don't expect these types of units to cool a room that may not be insulated..if the room or space you are trying to cool is not insulated such as a shed or garage, forget it. This will do nothing. Not necessarily the units fault, just in an inside room in a house, this may work. My room was about 380 Sq ft and i noticed a small change in temp after I ran it for 4 hours. Again, this is not a quik fix like the O.G freon units you stick in the window that blow ice cold. This blew cold but not ice cold. Beautiful but these types aren't it. If you do buy one, don't buy a multi this and that. No dehumidifier, no heater combo.mess..just buy a straight A.C

This portable air conditioner has power 8000 btu, it can fully meet my living room cooling needs. And it is easy to install with a great quality. it is also very energy-saving as you can see. Decent price i would like to say.
